The weekend varies through the sister channels of iFilm English, Arabic, Farsi and iFilm2. Therefore, the end of week falls on Thursday on iFilm2 and iFilm Farsi, Friday and Saturday on iFilm Arabic, and Saturday on iFilm English.

Check the movie titles and their air time based on the language and channel you prefer.

iFilm English:

On the verge of the New Year, iFilm English viewers are invited to watch ‘Parallel Heaven’ on Saturday December 30 at 22:00 GMT.

In the movie, Sadeq is a simpleton light-hearted young man who is very generous in spite of suffering some financial hardships. He does not have any children. Once he goes to a charity event and unexpectedly accepts the custody of some parentless kids.

iFilm Farsi:

Don’t miss ‘Strange Sisters’ Thursday December 28 on iFilm Farsi.

In the movie, Nasrin lives with her single mother. Whenever she asks about her father, she's told that he suddenly went abroad and never came back. Narges is another girl who lives with her single father. Upon asking the same question about her mother, she gets the same reply as Nasrin does. When the two girls meet each other by coincidence during a school program, they realize they've been lied to about their parents and that they were twin sisters. Their father is engaged to get married to another woman, but Narges can't stand her. The two girls swap places and scheme to reunite their parents.

iFilm Arabic:

Tune into iFilm Arabic this weekend to watch a hilarious movie titled ‘The Pastry Girl’. The film will come to you on Friday December 29 at 19:00 GMT.

In the movie, Saeed has wanted to marry Niloufar for 20 years. His father has always refused because of an old grudge he’s had against her family, until one night he has a dream that convinces him he’ll go to hell if he keeps standing in the way of their happiness. But can the two families finally put their differences aside after so many years?

The channel is also set to televise ‘Leila’ in Arabic on Saturday December 30 at 19:00 GMT.

It is about Leila and Reza who have been married for a year, but they have just found out they will never be able to have a baby. Reza's mother, an old-fashioned woman desperate for a grandchild, starts putting pressure on Reza to marry another wife, and even manages to get Leila to ignore her feelings and agree to the marriage, but will Reza agree to do so?
